Normalización
Lograr una situación normalizada debe ser el objetivo prioritario a conseguir. Un niño hiperactivo sin diagnosticar puede haber sido víctima de un ambiente un tanto hostil puesto que, al desconocer los adultos que le rodean su problemática, ha sido regañado a menudo por protagonizar conductas molestas.
El entorno debe amoldarse a las necesidades que presenta y mostrar un alto nivel de implicación en el tratamiento de un niño con TDAH. Es fundamental sensibilizar a todos los que desempeñen un papel importante en su vida para que entiendan sus circunstancias, sean capaces de empatizar con él y se muestren más tolerantes.
Pautas a seguir
Como ya se ha dicho anteriormente, es fundamental que exista una intervención coordinada entre la familia y los distintos profesionales que atienden al niño. Como pautas generales básicas a tener en cuenta se pueden citar las siguientes:
- Proponerle actividades variadas y de corta duración. Además, es recomendable tener en cuenta sus intereses para captar su atención.
- Establecer desconexiones programadas para liberar su inquietud motora. No se debe olvidar que exigirle que esté quieto o sentado durante demasiado tiempo es algo muy complicado e incluso frustrante para él pues necesita moverse.
- Ofrecerle estrategias de autocontrol y trabajar con él autoinstrucciones (lenguaje interiorizado).
- Proporcionarle experiencias de éxito que le ayuden a reforzar su autoestima y a sentirse capaz de enfrentarse a retos cada vez mayores.
- Demostrar confianza en sus posibilidades.
- Determinar unos límites claros y sus consecuencias para ayudar al niño a asumir responsabilidades y autorregularse paulatinamente.
Por supuesto, hay que ser muy pacientes y aprender a discernir entre cuando se ha saltado una norma y cuando su comportamiento es fruto de su impulsividad.

Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
